 Championship, European Open, European Open Junior, IFCS, WAO, IMCA and FMBB) with amazing results, including coaching the winning the Individual Small FCI World Championship title in 2015. Marco then moved in the States and started an agility career with his phenomenal young Sheltie BET (Betterlatethannever), who was the fastest 12” Sheltie in the United States for the 6th year in a row (according to the BDA Power Rankings). Marco and BET were also selected to be members of the USA European Open Teams in 2019 and 2022 and the AKC USA World Teams in 2019, 2022 and now 2023. Together Marco and BET won the Bronze Medal in Jumpers Small Team at the 2019 FCI World Championship in Finland. At the AKC Nationals 2021 Marco and BET made the Finals, leading the cumulative results for the 12” dogs, after the 3 Qualifying Rounds. Their performance at NAC earned them invite to the AKC Premier Cup 2021 in Florida, where they earned 2nd in one round and made the Final again. AKC Nationals in 2022 and 2023 saw Marco and BET earning their way into the competitive Challenger round. In April 2022, Marco and BET were invited to participate at the Purina Incredible Dog Challenge in Atlanta, where they earned the bronze medal in the Agility competition in the 12” height, and in the 30 Weave Poles Challenge.

Pinnacle Dog Sports is happy to announce that Marco Giavoni will be returning in 2025!

 

After 23 years teaching and trialing in Italy, Marco Giavoni moved in the United States in 2017 and currently lives in Midland, Michigan. Marco has competed in Agility for over 28 years. He was an Italian European Open Team member in 2011, 2012 and 2015 with 3 different dogs and earned a Team Silver medal in 2011. He has coached 21 Italian students who have competed over 50 times at the major International events (FCI World
